Chance The Rapper Donating 30,000 Stuffed Book Bags To CPS Students

Chance The Rapper and his Social Works organization  has teamed up with STATE bags to bless 30,000 Chicago Public School students with stuffed book bags for Back to School.

STATE Bags, is “a one-for-one bag brand that delivers a backpack to an American child in need for every bag sold,” Chance is prepping Chicago Public School students  for the back to school season. On a mission to empower public school students, together STATE and SocialWorks will donate 30,000 backpacks to children living in some of Chicago’s most underfunded neighborhoods to ensure they are equipped with the essentials for their first day of school.

The book bags will be given away this Saturday, August 12th  at the Bud Billiken Parade in Chicago.
