NBC’s New Family Comedy ‘Marlon’ Hits Season Ratings High

Family Comedy

The Marlon Wayans family comedy ‘Marlon’ is a hit at NBC.  According to Variety, in its first season the show has already hit a series high in total viewers in  its Wednesday night time slot.

The 9 p.m. episode averaged a 1.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers. That beats the previous high in total viewers set by the series premiere (5.3 million), and matches the key demo record also set by the series opener. Marlon

About the show:

Taking inspiration from the real life of series’ star Marlon Wayans, this modern-day family comedy focuses on the life of an attentive — somewhat juvenile — single father as he works to co-parent his two young children with his mature and very put-together ex-wife (played by Essence Atkins). While his fatherly advice may often be misguided, and he sometimes lets his own outsized personality and unpredictable Internet superstardom get in his way, for Marlon, family always comes first.

Have you watched it yet?  It’s a really good family show.
