The ladies of The Real are honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr,’s legacy on Monday’s episode. Tamera Mowry Housley, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai share their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. King for the opportunities made available to them because of his efforts.
Christian co-host, Tamera Mowry-Housley: You know what I love about the show, and what I love about the show that I just see growing with the viewership that we have. Is that yes, we are women of color here and we represent women of color, but when people watch us they don’t only just see color.
Tamera goes on to say,
They see these amazing different personalities that represent any woman who might have the same personality as we do and that’s beautiful, that’s beautiful to see.
Adrienne chimed in to say that you no longer see color, you see a soul, and then Tamera added, “you see a soul. You see people.”
Loni Love ended the conversation with:
And we just want to say thank you Dr. King, thank you so much.
