Own TV has released another video where CEO, Oprah Winfrey discusses their successful church drama, Greenleaf. Oprah says that, from the beginning, she wanted her television series, Greenleaf to “come from a truthful space.”
Having grown up in an African-American community that found a connection and spiritual sustenance in the church, Oprah, who is a co-producer of the hit OWN drama, believes the show captures “the essence of the spirit” of what African-American church communities are like.
