J.Lo and her yellow pantsuit was Oprah’s special guest during her 2020 Vision tour stop at The Forum in California Saturday.
During her sit down with Oprah, Jennifer’s comments about her Oscar snub for her role as Ramona in Hustlers is worth sharing.
“I don’t need this award right here to tell me that I am enough.”
“I was sad, I was a little sad because there was a lot of buildup to it,” she shared. “There were so many articles, I got so many good notices — more than ever in my career — and there was a lot of ‘She’s going to get nominated for an Oscar, it’s going to happen, if it doesn’t you’re crazy.’ I’m reading all the articles going, ‘Oh my god, could this happen?’ And then it didn’t and I was like ‘Ouch,’ it was a little bit of a letdown. Also I felt like my whole team — most of my team has been with me for years, 20, 25 years — and I think they had a lot of hopes on that and they wanted it too, so I felt like I let everyone down a little bit.”
“I had to re-examine like ‘Why do you do this, what are you so sad about right now? You just had the most amazing year of your life — you just had the biggest opening of a movie in your career, you just walked the runway in Milan and had a fashion moment [in her iconic Versace dress], you’re doing the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks, what is it?'”
“And you want people’s validation,” she continued. “You want people to say you did a good job, and I realized, ‘No you don’t need that, you do this because you love it,” eventually realizing that “I don’t need this award right here to tell me that I am enough.”

Actress, singer and morning talk show host, KeKe Palmer has a new gig!
If you’ve been watching TV, you probably already know that she’s the official spokesperson for the new Olay Body skincare line.
The “Millennial Diva” had previously partnered with Olay Body last year for its New York Fashion Week campaign. She walked in her first runway show at the event.
If you come from nothing and think there is something you’re missing, I’m here to tell you you’re not. The only thing you ever could be missing, is the belief that what God has for you IS ALREADY YOURS!
KeKe wrote in an Instagram post promoting her new partnership, “I used to watch these kinds of commercials on television when I was a little girl and very rarely, if ever, did I see a girl in them that looked like me. I always thought there was a special kind of beauty, or hair texture or complexion that you had to have to be considered for an actual beauty ad. Not to be melodramatic or whatever, but REPRESENTATION MATTERS. It truly does!!”

H.E.R., who is known for wearing shades, has teamed up with DIFF eyewear, the designer eyewear brand known for it’s charitable work.
See the world through H.E.R. lens. Presenting H.E.R. x DIFF, the highly anticipated first eyewear collection by this enigmatic music icon. Own H.E.R.’s signature frames with this range, featuring 4 styles and special edition trifold case + cleaning cloth.
The singer recently spoke with Billboard about how the collaboration came about:
It was a long process getting to this point. I’ve gotten so many different offers from eyewear companies to collaborate, but a lot of those people didn’t want to give me creative control. They wanted me to be the face, yet not be involved in the design.
But sunglasses are my thing, and I knew I wanted to do it the right way. And so when we started having a conversation with DIFF and I began looking into them, I realized that I would be able to do my thing with them creatively. Plus, they’re really a charitable company, which means a lot to me. Giving back and creative freedom? It’s the best of both worlds!
The 4 styles are priced at $85.00 and can be purchased on DIFF’s website.
Mariah Carey‘s Vegas residency is coming to an end, and her go to fashion designer Michel Costello is sharing his design inspiration for the “DIVA’s” Vegas Show.
“The Butterfly Returns” at Caesars Palace has received rave reviews, with fans saying the Iconic singer sounds and looks better than ever, and slaying her wardrobe choices.
“Let’s face it, she’s got all the assets.”
The show, which opened on Valentine’s Day and closes this weekend, features five looks, all done by Costello, with the exception of an Adrienne Landau feather coat he selected for MiMi, according to WWD.
The drama begins in a black, long-sleeve, hand-beaded, appliquéd bodysuit with a sheer black chiffon skirt covered in black Swarovski crystals, a look Costello calls “all legs for days.” She then changes into a bodysuit with the Adrienne Landau ostrich feather coat, at which part Carey calls Costello on stage for a “glam moment” and he drapes the coat over her; a strapless hot pink sequined mermaid dress, Costello’s favorite, that is “totally Mariah,” and either a white or silver gown, “depending on how she’s feeling,” for a few ballads.
