Producers Roma Downey and Cindy Bond announced the cast for their movie adaptation of Francine Rivers’ allegorical novel Redeeming Love.
The movie is described to be a powerful retelling of the biblical book of Hosea against the backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850.
It follows the protagonist, Angel (Abigail Cowen) who gets sold into prostitution as a child. Years later as an adult, Angel marries a man named Michael Hosea (Tom Lewis), who trusts in God’s direction to cultivate a life with Angel.
The film also stars Nina Dobrev, Eric Dane and Logan Marshall Green.

Russell Wilson and Ciara didn’t let a #StayAtHome order stop them from celebrating their daughter Princess Sienna’s 3rd birthday.
CiCi, Russell and Future sang Happy Birthday to Sienna as she blew out the candles on her Frozen themed layered birthday cake.
The couple spared no expense on their babygirl, turning their home into all things Frozen, from the blue, purple and silver balloons which read “Sienna, 3”, and a small toy “Arendelle” castle. She truly had a party fit for a Princess.
Kierra Sheard brings Kanye West’s reign with the #1 Gospel album for the last 6 months to a halt with her latest “KIERRA.”
Her latest album marks the first new No. 1 on Top Gospel Albums since Kanye West’s first entry in the genre, Jesus Is King, which debuted atop the list dated Nov. 9, 2019, and governed the chart for 25 frames.
Sheard earns her fifth Top Gospel Albums No. 1, all of which have arrived at the summit. She last led with Graceland, her most recent LP before Kierra, in August 2014.
“It’s been several years since my last album, so I’m thankful that the music and the messages are resonating with people,” the award winning singer told Billboard. “I pray that Kierra inspires everyone that hears it to rely on their faith. The response has been amazing and I’m excited and truly grateful.”
Erica Campbell didn’t let a little quarantine stop her from celebrating her birthday.
Erica celebrated her birthday on Wednesday by releasing a music video (quarantine style) for “A Little More Jesus” that features her adorable family.
Thank you for staying home and celebrating my birthday with me, she wrote as she surprised fans with the video. We never shot a video for my song “A Little More Jesus,” so we maximized our time of quarantine to shoot this just for you!

God has graced her with so many gifts and talents. He has given her the energy of 20 people to accomplish many things in small amounts of time…. Her heart is golden…. Babyface just took care of Mother’s Day for most of us!
The singer/songwriter announced on The View that he’s going to play the entire Waiting To Exhale album on Instagram Live for Mother’s Day.
While discussing his IG battle with Teddy Riley, Babyface explained how fans were waiting for him to play the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack (which he wrote and produced), but he never did…
“There were so many people on the Instagram Live who wanted to hear music from the Waiting to Exhale [soundtrack] so I thought this would be great, Mother’s Day, to play the Waiting to Exhale album, tell stories, tell how it all happened and talk about the artists. Because that was half the fun of it all in doing the Instagram Live was being able to tell stories. People were so interested in that. So I thought it would be fun to do as well.”
Sibling group Trilogy, formerly known as STL3 has released a new single “Jesus Loves Me” to gospel radio.
Consisting of siblings Stephen, Sierra and Shante Leslie, the group took some time off to pursue higher education, learn more about the music business and further hone their craft. Now, they emerge with a new name – TRILOGY – and a reverent sound reflective of their flawless harmonies and deep roots in Gospel music.
Trilogy’s luminous new single “Jesus Loves Me” was recently serviced to radio and is seeing early adds that has quickly broken Billboard’s Top-100 chart position. “Jesus Loves Me” will be available for download from all digital outlets on May 15th through a joint venture with the Leslies’ PGK Music and United Alliance Music Group.
“The song is very heartfelt and authentic,” says Stephen. “It is a reflection on imperfection and the idea that you may be imperfect but you don’t have to beat yourself up because you have someone who loves you in spite of yourself. There is a strong sense of peace in the harmonies and instrumentation of the song.”
“Jesus Loves Me” is the first song released from the group’s upcoming EP project titled Blank Script.
