“I’m not gonna lie to you, after DC I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I was about 18-years-old, I hadn’t live as a normal teenager, I hadn’t gone to college. Even coming out of that, I wasn’t the most secure person because I was so used to having a ‘team’ mentality to think of going out on my own was terrifying. The thought of singing made me angry. I didn’t believe I had a voice, I didn’t believe I could sing, I didn’t believe I could return to the music industry. Make a long story short, after surrendering and getting to know God on a whole ‘nother level…I learned to surrender, get out of my own way, stop living in fear and allow him to direct my path.”

The Greenleaf star continued,

“During my journey I was staying at people’s house, I never told these stories before…I slept in a car in L.A. while I was making my first album. Not a lot of nights, but you know what I’m saying? I was drinking a gallon of water and buying the microwavable oodles of noodles [starts to weep]…I can’t believe I’m crying.”

Melania Trump’s Ex Bestie Reveals Why She Wore That “I Don’t Care” Jacket

We’re finally getting the truth behind Melania Trump‘s infamous “I Don’t Care” jacket that she wore to the borders in 2018.

The First Ladys’ ex bestie Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has a new book out tomorrow (Sept. 1st) “Melania and Me,” and she’s telling it all.

Inside the book Wolkoff recalls how Melania laughed off the backlash she received for wearing the insensitive jacket when her husband was being heavily criticized for his family separation policy.

“I decide what I wear for myself,” Ms. Wolkoff claims the First Lady told her in response to her concerns that the First Lady’s stylist, Herve Pierre, was being trashed online.

Asked what “prompted” her to wear the jacket, Wolkoff claims the First Lady said, “I’m driving liberals crazy! You know what? They deserve it!”

“Some people get too much into it. They connect stuff to my clothes, but they don’t really know me. They think so much, their heads will explode.”

Sounds like Melania is just like her husband…

Deborah Joy Winans

The heartfelt song speaks to the emotional resolve it takes to get past heartbreak. “I Won’t Stop Breathing” sends a message of hope and inspiration to all those affected by negativity and hurting to never give up.

“My brother Juan shared this song with me and I always knew I wanted to record it, Deborah Joy said. Sometimes when we face heartbreak in life, and we feel like all hope is lost, the only thing we can do is not stop breathing. The recent tragedy of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor brought those lyrics to my heart and mind, and I feel like it is right for this moment in history. A time of extraordinary sadness, but also hope for tomorrow.”

According to reports “I Won’t Stop Breathing” won’t be the last time the actress/singer releases music.

Women In Stem Are The New Faces Of Olay

In an effort to help close the STEM gender gap, Olay is kicking off its #FacetheSTEMGap campaign, a decade-long commitment to support women in STEM.

Over the next 10 years, the brand will strive to achieve gender equality in STEM study programs, double the number of women in STEM careers, and increase diversity and inclusion by tripling the number of BIPOC women in STEM fields, according to a press release.

Olay’s first step in reaching those goals: a $520,000 donation to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), which provides scholarship, internship, and fellowship programs and financial support to Black American college students.

In addition to pledging financial support to the UNCF, the beauty brand is also showcasing women who are already kicking butt in their respective STEM fields. As part of its #FacetheSTEMGap campaign, the brand is swapping out models in Olay advertisements and featuring “role models” — aka real women in STEM — instead.

Not only does she have the normal holiday classics, but she also has a song “Hallelujah” written and performed with John Legend.

“I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming,” says the award winning singer. “I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year, and I think it’s turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this, in this period of such personal and spiritual reflection. For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters.”

Sunset glow… #JLoBeauty coming soon

Is it a skincare line or makeup line or is it both? Well, she hasn’t made that clear yet.

According to Allure, the trademark for JLo Beauty was filed in December 2019, and it reads as a catch-all for virtually every kind of skin-care product (it lists “skin moisturizers, skin cleansers, skin creams, non-medicated skin-care preparations, cosmetic creams for skin care; beauty creams, beauty soaps, beauty bars, beauty gels, beauty lotions, beauty masks; skin-care products, namely, non-medicated skin serums; body and beauty care cosmetics; face and body beauty creams). However, from the look of the selfies, it seems there may very well be makeup involved, too. I guess we will have to wait and see.
