New Orleans rapper, producer, singer-songwriter, Aha Gazelle, officially releases “Back In My Bag.” Teased on his SoundCloud earlier this month to hold fans over, the track is now available on all DSPs, including iTunes and Spotify. A straight-up motivational record, “Back In My Bag” is about not losing one’s self. “I almost took the bait and played the part,” Aha said, annotating the lyrics. “I almost forgot who I truly am.”
Just before the weekend, Aha announced that he will be the direct opening act for Lecrae’s upcoming 24-date tour, All Things Work Together. The two also released “Whatchu Mean,” their newest single together, which premiered on Beats 1 Radio with Ebro on Sep. 20th. It has since generated over 1M collective plays. Aha Gazelle born William Gazelle Fields Jr. is currently preparing Trilliam 3 , the third and final installment of his mixtape series. Carrying the message that one can be successful by being their authentic self, without relying on stereotypical imagery to become popular, the project is set to shine a positive light on Southern hip-hop.
