Diddy and education guru Steve Perry’s 2nd charter school, Capital Prep Bronx officially start classes on Tuesday, Sept. 8th.
The school will start remote classes Tuesday and transition to “hybrid/in-person” classes, according to staff.
“We’re not just teaching reading, math and coding. We are grooming future leaders that will change their communities and the world,” Diddy said.
Diddy and Steve Perry opened The Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School in 2016. Now the Bronx location which opens Tuesday will serve 160 students in 6th-7th grade. The school will grow to serve 600 students in 6th-11th grade during an initial five-year term, and 12th grade in it’s 6th year.
