First there was her MAC cosmetics collab that took us back to the 90’s, then she changed the game in Coming 2 America and now she’s partnered with OLAY to help us keep our skin together.

So to have the opportunity to work with them, I just feel like this year has really been a blessing. I’ve been working with a lot of people I’ve had dreams of working with. Olay is big for me.

The singer/actress is helping the beauty brand launch their new body care collection, which consists of a body wash and rinse-off conditioner with retinol.

Not only is the collaboration a big deal for Teyana, it’s helping her to reinforce the importance of me-time.

“As a woman, it’s challenging to carve out moments of self-care and even more so over this past year,” Taylor said in a post on her Instagram.

Natural haircare brand Mielle Organics is making major moves.

The company, announced yesterday that Berkshire Partners has made a major investment in the company.

The financing will support Mielle’s growth plans and help further its mission to educate, and empower the haircare community.

A portion of Berkshire’s investment will be used to support Mielle’s More Than a Strand program. The program is core to the company’s mission to strengthen the bond between mothers, daughters, and young girls around the world.

Company co-founders Monique and Melvin Rodriguez (CEO and COO, respectively) will continue to be majority owners and maintain control of the company.

The brand was founded by makeup-artist-turned-beauty-exec Tisha Thompson, who has 15 years of experience in the clean beauty industry at brands such as PÜR. She aimed to bring inclusive, accessible makeup to the masses that’s actually good for your skin.

Tracee Ellis Ross is the new diversity and inclusion adviser for Ulta Beauty as they look to “further champion diversity.”

Ross, the chief executive officer of Pattern Beauty, steps into a role that is meant to provide counsel and drive accountability, Ulta said in a statement. Pattern Beauty launched exclusively with Ulta in 2019.

“I look forward to formalizing an already existing dialogue and partnership around diversity and inclusion with Mary Dillon [Ulta’s CEO] and the Ulta Beauty team,” the actress said in a statement. “This work requires commitment and accountability from Ulta Beauty to ensure measurable goals are achieved. I am hopeful and optimistic our work together will create foundational change.”
