Country Music Icon Kenny Rogers Has Passed Aways. He Was 81

Grammy award winning country singer Kenny Rogers passed away from natural causes at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia Friday night.

Rogers “passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,” a rep for the singer told Variety.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreakd, the family is holding a small, private service, though a public memorial will be held in the future.

My favorite Kenny Rogers song is “Lady” his duet with the legendary songwriter and singer Lionel Richie. Those two were always so smooth together to me.

The Iconic singer announced his retirement from music back in 2017. Please join me in praying for his family and friends during their time of bereavement.
