Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada has been dipped in the water!
Evelyn rededicated her life to Christ over the weekend, and shared a couple of pics on her Instagram.
She recently opened up about her decision saying it “stems from me feeling like my way wasn’t the right way.”
“Something was missing, it was on my heart, it was on my mind [to get Baptized],” she shared with Baller Alert, adding that she was at a time in her life that she just wanted “different results.”
“My soul needed something positive,” she said.
Evelyn has also decided to abstain from premarital sex.
“I’m done with premarital sex,” she said, noting that she would like to practice celibacy until marriage after past relationships impacted her deeper than she realized. “I felt like… [in] those relationships I lost a piece of me, every time I had sex [out of wedlock].”
On being a better person on the next season of Basketball Wives.
“As a woman, a mother, somebody that’s trying to accomplish things at life, I know I have to do better with how I respond to certain situations. This season whenever we start filming, whenever that is, it’s supposed to be at the top of the year. It’s going to be the real true facts because me getting baptized and really wanting to do it for God in the right way, it’s going to be not easy. But I’m determined to pass the test.”
In 2014, after her marriage to NFL star Chad Johnson was over she credited God and Christian Life Coach, Tony Gaskins with helping to turn her life around.
“Most of you know my previous story and the turmoil that hit my life a couple of years ago. With the help of God, my life coach @tonygaskins and much needed prayer things turned around,” she wrote on Instagram back then while captioning a Gaskins quote. “I don’t post his quotes for ‘show,’ I post them because this man is my REAL Life Coach. We have serious sessions and I thank you and your wife for being a beacon of hope and light that helped me to turn things around.”
