Fox 9-1-1 the new drama series starring Angela Bassett, and Rockmond Dunbar is a ratings win.

Not only did the new Fox come out on top during its debut on January 3, but with delayed viewing calculated in, it has risen 50 percent in viewers to 10.5M viewers across multiple platforms.
This makes it the network’s best Wednesday night premiere since Fox’s Lethal Weapon and ABC’s Designated Survivor — and the best Wednesday opener for not just the network, but all of broadcast and cable TV.
The series is based on the real-life, high-pressure experiences of emergency response providers who are thrust into heart-stopping situations that are equal parts unpredictable, intense and uplifting. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives.
