Two-time Grammy-nominated gospel recording artist James Fortune & FIYA will be in concert Saturday at the Lighthouse Community Church in Pleasantville, NJ.
Since 2008, Fortune, 37, has released seven CDs. He was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2012 for best gospel album of the year and best gospel song of the year. He also topped Billboard’s best of 2012 gospel songs/artists list.
“You Survived,” “God Can” and “I Trust You” are among Fortune’s singles. His latest recording is his first live album, “Live Through It,” released last year. Fortune is also a radio personality on WLIB-AM 1190.
The Houston-based singer, appears in Pleasantville between performing Wednesday in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Dec. 20 in Washington D.C.
