Just like one of her favorite secular singers Beyonce, Kierra Sheard is headed out on tour with an all girl band, and I’m loving it!!!!
According to her website, during the tour, she’ll take us on a journey through an archive of her fourteen year music career. Sheard covers songs from different genres of music inside of her app. Songs like Coldplay’s “Paradise”, Adele’s “Hello”, Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind”, Sia’s “Chandelier”, and Beyoncé’s “If I Were A Boy”. Shockingly she mentioned Janet Jackson’s 80’s hit, “Control”. She didn’t fail to include herself and what she’s worked hard for through the years. She’ll perform Music from her records “I Owe You”, “Bold Right Life”, “This Is Me”, and more.
Having released a social media post in search for a girl band, she picks them through virtual auditions. “I want those that will come, to leave feeling refreshed. Transparency, God, love, music, and more is what I’ll have to offer. I will have fun on this tour and do things that I’ve never done before. I will not be prohibited or stopped by anyone but God! I will not worry about what’s said. I’m going for a raw experience. People don’t want fake experiences. They want what’s real. We all want to feel like we aren’t alone while doing this thing called “life”…”, says Kierra. It sounds like she has a plan that some of us may not expect. A “fun girls night out” or “a night with the fellas” seems to be in some of our plans during this time! Sheard plans to hit the road starting July and rolling until October. “…people will leave believing in themselves, remembering that God is with them, and if they haven’t tried Him, they’ll leave having seen that He’s the best decision to someone in the room. I’m excited about this tour!”
