Love it!!!!!! This Valentines Day President Obama and First Lady Obama won’t be together, because duty calls, but no worries they both sent Valentines Day messages to each other on the Ellen Show.
President Obama stopped by the Ellen show on his way to Democratic Fundraisers in LA, so Ellen teamed up with the First Lady Michelle Obama and had her send a Valentine’s poem to her hubby that was played during the segment. The poem said,
“Roses are red, violets are blue, you are the president and I am your boo!” (this was a when your First Lady is cool moment) The First Lady went on to tell Ellen she is the only woman she would share her husband with on Valentines Day. .. Ha!
Ellen wanted to help the President out so that we wouldn’t be upstaged, but he had a poem prepared to recite to his wife of 23 years in front of America and the Ellen audience:
“Somebody call the Situation Room because things are about to get hot!”
Staying true to his wife’s healthy living campaign, he continued,
“Michelle, this Valentine’s Day I’m going to treat you right. I’m going to make you some zucchini bread. Then I’ll spread out some veggies on a plate just the way you like them.”
He wasn’t done,
“Then I’m going to give you a massage while you watch Ellen’s Design Challenge on HGTV. Because I love you so much I Obamacare about you more than you even know. “
Then he ended making us all say awwwwwwwww
“Michelle, I’ve made a lot of great decisions as president. The best decision I ever made was choosing you. Thanks for putting up with me. I love you.”
Gotta love these two!!!!!
