Oprah Winfrey, who went on the TD Jakes Show and said those now famous words, “You don’t have to like her, you not inviting her over to your house,” when revealing that she, like many of us was casting her vote for Hillary Clinton, is now reflecting on President Elect Donald Trump.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Oprah said “hope is still alive” after Obama said he was encouraged by Trump’s willingness to work with his team during the transition of power.
Oprah also revealed that she believes the President Elect has been humbled by this experience.
“I could sense, maybe I’m wrong, but I could sense from Donald Trump’s body language even when he came out for the acceptance speech, that brotha has been humbled by this world thing. I think it’s a humbling process that now you literally have the weight of the world on your shoulders,” Oprah said.
