Patti Labelle Starring In Upcoming Season Of Greenleaf

Let the church say Amen!!!

Ms. Patti Labelle will guest star in season 3 of Greenleaf.

Ms. Patti will star as Lady Mae’s (played by Lynn Whitfield) long-time friend Maxine Patterson, according to a Tweet from the show.

Season 3 of the church drama is in production now, and returns to the network this summer.  Season 2 ended with Bishop Greenleaf and Lady Mae struggling with the acknowledgement of infidelity in their marriage, and the Bishop running into  the arms of Rochelle, who if you recall is secretly conspiring with Basie Skanks, who happens to be her brother take the Bishop down.

We all know Lady Mae will do anything to protect her “position” at Calvary, and she ain’t about to let Ms. Rochelle mess up what she got going on.  So, we can only imagine what’s about to go down once her best friend Ms. Maxine Patterson comes to town.
