Russell Westbrook received support from wife Nina Westbrook, as he was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall Of Fame on Thursday. Westbrook toned it down for the event, by going conventional. Sharp black tux. Sharp bow tie, and black suede loafers, complete with turquoise pattern on top. And no socks.
As he was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, wife Nina shared her congratulations to her hubby for accomplishing such a dynamic honor. Nina posted a pic with the caption,”Congrats Babe”
After the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan talked about Westbrook’s loyalty, hard work and dedication to the OKC Thunder, Westbrook took the podium thanking the community of Oklahoma for accepting him and his family.
“After witnessing the divisions and the challenges of our nation, we have been facing for the past several months, I’ve realized this honor’s not about me nor about the people in this room,” he said. “Oklahoma is an unbelievable community. I’m so appreciative of the fact that the people of Oklahoma have been so supportive of welcoming my family and I. However, I feel there’s always room to grow. I can be better, you can be better, and we can be better together.”
