Paisley Park Museum announced Tuesday afternoon that there will be a tribute concert “Prince: Live On The Big Screen”, April 21st at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
According to a press release sent to Variety, the Prince tribute concert will feature “newly remastered and never-before-released audio and video of the late singer accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a group of musicians.
The live experience will showcase the singer in his own inimitable sound and style, highlighting the incendiary energy he brought to each performance.” Presumably these would be unreleased live recordings from his vault.
The concert will be part of “Celebration 2018,” a four-day event honoring the artist’s life and legacy, taking place at Paisley Park between April 19-22nd.
