Christian couple, Steph and wife Ayesha Curry along with their two adorable daughters, Riley and Ryan cover the June issue of Parents Magazine. Inside the issue the NBA star and his cooking show host’s wife talk about pregame rituals and raising their two daughters.
Ayesha, who has an upcoming cooking show on the Food Network and releasing a cookbook this fall, reveals that she’s still surprised by how much work goes into raising Riley and their second daughter, 9-month-old Ryan.
“The amount of stuff you get done in a day is insane,” she says. “Like, what were we doing with our time before kids?”
Ayesha adds: “It’s an event to get all four of us out of the house at once. When we get in the car and we’ve brought everything and everybody has socks on, it’s like a dream come true.”
Another dream come true for this busy mom? Co-parenting with Stephen.
“The thing I love about him is that he’s not too cool for school,” Ayesha says. “He’ll get down on the floor and play with the girls. He’ll put on dress-up clothes if he has to, and he’s very patient, which is something I’m not. We balance each other out.”
And their adorable pregame ritual:
The Currys have matching tattoos.
“It signifies that our past is behind us and the future is a promise … I do a little sign and I kind of smack my tattoo and she does the same right before the game,” said the Warriors guard.
