Harry and Meghan Giving 1st Interview To Oprah

When you’re ready to talk you talk to Oprah! and that’s exactly what Harry and Meghan are about to do.

The couple will break their silence in their first interview since they quit the royal family when they sit down with Oprah Winfrey next month for a special to air on CBS. (Lord I can’t wait!)

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who announced they are expecting their second child on Sunday, shocked the world last year when they announced they were chucking the deuces to royal life.

CBS said the interview will air on March 7th at 8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT.

“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” CBS said in a statement.

“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

Harry and Meghan Have Joined Advertisers In FaceBook Boycott

Harry and Meghan are tired of Facebook allowing hate speech, bullying and misinformation to be posted to their platform, just like the rest of us.

According to sources close to the Royal couple, the Sussexes have been privately advocating for the #stophateforprofit campaign, which I first wrote about here.

According to Axios, over the past few weeks, the couple has encouraged CEOs around the world to stand in solidarity with a coalition of civil rights groups, like the NAACP, Color of Change and the Anti-Defamation League, which began urging marketers to stop buying ads on Facebook via the Stop Hate for Campaign two weeks ago.

Verizon, Levis, Dove, Lipton, Unilever, Patagonia, The North Face, Ben & Jerry’s, Coca Cola, and the Hershey Company, have all released statements saying they would halt advertising on the social media site as part of the #StopHateForProfit campaign.

Facebook announced on Friday that they will label any post that violates its policies but that Facebook deems newsworthy enough to remain online. The company lead by Mark Zuckerberg also said they will remove all posts that incite violence or seek to suppress voters.

No More Using “Sussex Royal” Title For Harry and Meghan

Harry and Meghan will no longer be allowed to use the title “Sussex Royal” after their official time as senior working royals comes to an end.

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess confirmed on Friday afternoon that the new non-profit organization created by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not feature their royal titles. This is due to the UK’s specific government rules concerning the use of the word ‘Royal’.

A spokesperson for the couple explained: “While The Duke and Duchess are focused on plans to establish a new non-profit organization, given the specific UK government rules surrounding use of the word ‘Royal’, it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organization, when it is announced this Spring, will not be named Sussex Royal Foundation.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘SussexRoyal’ in any territory post Spring 2020.

“Therefore the trademark applications that were filed as protective measures, acting on advice from and following the same model for The Royal Foundation, have been removed.”

In a video posted to their Instagram account, the Royal couple shared some of their biggest moments of 2019, and snuck in a new pic of baby Archie with his dad Prince Harry (both wearing a wool hat and coat) backed behind Coldplay’s single “Clock”

“Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support, the caption to the video reads. We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness. – The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

Harry and Meghan Release Official Pics From Baby Archie Christening

Harry and Meghan had baby Archie christened Saturday in the Queen’s private chapel inside Windsor Castle.

The intimate ceremony was attended by Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Kate, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and the undisclosed godparents of baby Archie. The Queen was not in attendance due to a prior commitment.

Harry and Meghan chose the private chapel because they “wanted an intimate setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty,” says a royal source.

Following the ceremony, a Royal Spokesperson said, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to share the happiness of this day, and would like to thank everyone around the world for their ongoing support. They feel so fortunate to have enjoyed this special moment with family and Archie’s godparents.”

So, why don’t we know the name of the godparents? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to keep that information private.

According to Buckingham Palace, “The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Share New Pic Of Baby Archie

Just as we expected, Harry and Meghan shared a new pic of baby Archie for Father’s Day.

Harry and Meghan shared a new pic of baby Archie in the arms of his daddy.

“Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex,” the caption for the pic read.

The new photo of Archie comes a week after Meghan took a break from maternity leave to attend the Queen’s Trooping The Colour birthday celebration with Harry.

Harry and Meghan posted a video slideshow on their official Instagram account with “This Little Light Of Mine” playing in the background. It’s the same song the couple used for their wedding recessional, performed by the Kingdom Choir.

“Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote.
