New Comedy Netflix Series: Dad Stop Embarrassing Me Starring Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx stars in the new Netflix comedy series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me, which is inspired by his relationship with daughter Corrine Foxx (who also serves as executive director of the series).

Premiering on Netflix April 14th, the comedy series is centered around Brian Dixon (played by Foxx), a successful business owner and bachelor, who just became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha (Kyla-Drew).

Determined to be the best father he can be, Brian’s going to need all the help he can get from his dad (David Alan Grier) and sister (Porscha Coleman) — and Sasha’s going to need all the help she can get learning how to deal with her new, lovingly chaotic life.

Jamie Foxx has given us a look at the beginning stages of his transformation into Mike Tyson for the upcoming biopic “Finding Mike.”

” The transformation begins… “FINDING MIKE,” Jamie wrote on his social media page. It is no secret that I have been pursuing the @miketyson biopic for some time… people always ask me when is it going to happen?… things have finally lined up… A few months ago we started the journey… The first but biggest task is to transform the body… with a regiment of pull-ups dips and push-ups we are off to a pretty good start… we have a ways to go but God willing… yesterday on my good friends @markbirnbaum show. I shared these early pics of the process… like I said we have a ways to go… But I am prepared to get there!

Jamie confirmed the movie was in the works while on Mark Birnbaum’s Instagram Live series Catching Up on Wednesday, saying, “Look, doing biographies is a tough thing. Sometimes it takes 20 years to get them done. But we officially got the real ball rolling.”
