Lauren Daigle has become the 1st female artist to have 5 number 1 songs on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs Chart.
Her current single, “Hold on to Me,” has become her fifth song to top Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs list.
Daigle previously shared that the single served as a nice reminder after 2020 to come together and “Remember that being with each other, and being there for each other, and holding each other up in the worst times – is what life is truly all about.”
Two-time GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle, who has sold out every one of her shows to date, will open 2020 with her first headlining arena tour, the “Lauren Daigle World Tour.” It follows nearly 70 sold out performances that have taken place since the release of her GRAMMY Award winning album, Look Up Child.
The forty four-city “Lauren Daigle World Tour,” kicks off January 18th in Melbourne, Australia and will include a performance at New Zealand’s Festival One. It will then launch in the US on February 20th in Pensacola, Florida and will include stops in New York, Nashville, Houston, Boston, Dallas and north of the border in Toronto and Montreal. The “Lauren Daigle World Tour” wraps with a special performance in Lauren’s hometown of Lafayette, LA at the CAJUNDOME.

Lauren Daigle made her return to American Idol Sunday as a celebrity mentor, years after being voted off.
Lauren told the contestants that the singing competition show was instrumental in giving her something to believe in.
“When I was 17, I tried out for American Idol. I look back on that, 10 years ago, and I think, man, the journey has been so incredible. Like it really has. This show gave me something to believe in, it really did,” the Grammy award-winning artist said to the American Idol finalists.
Lauren Daigle appeared on the show 10 years ago when she was 17. Even though Daigle got a “no” from the judges at the time, she has become a force in the Christian music community. Her latest single “You Say” has been a crossover hit, winning her multiple Billboard Music Awards.

Last night the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. Awards were handed out in 44 categories, plus special award categories.
