3rd season of Virgin River

Over the Memorial Day weekend the cast announced on Instagram that the hit drama will return on July 9th.

I became addicted to this show during the pandemic. Like most people who watch the show, I am praying that Jack and Melinda end up together.

The series is centered around Melinda, a nurse practitioner who relocates from LA to the small town after the death of her husband.

Not only does Melinda fall in love with the town, but she falls for Jack too. The problem is she’s scared to love again and he has a baby on the way by another woman.

According to reports, the upcoming season storyline includes a funeral, a fire, a divorce, a hurricane, and a new romance.

I’ll be tuned in…

Netflix’s Virgin River: Must Watch TV!

I finally got the opportunity to binge watch the Netflix series Virgin River and I’m obsessed! It’s based upon the novel of the same name from Robyn Carr.

It’s centered around Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who answers an ad to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the country town of Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories of losing her husband and not being able to have kids behind in the big city. But she soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected. She meets and falls for the towns hero Jack (Martin Henderson) and he falls for her, even though he has a “casual” someone in his life.

The whirlwind 10 episode series ends with Mel in tears as she packs her bags to head back home after finding out that Jack’s ex “casual” someone is now pregnant with his child.

After binge watching season one, I immediately did some research to see if their was a season 2.. and THANK GOD!!!!! season 2 will reportedly premiere sometime this year (2020).

If Netflix and Chill is on your agenda this weekend, I highly recommend watching this show, especially if you’re a hopeless romantic like myself.
