The Clark Sisters were on The Real Daytime Friday to discuss their upcoming biopic and while sitting on the couch shared their thoughts on having Snoop Dogg and Kanye West as fans of their music.
Snoop dropped his award winning Gospel album “Bible of Love” last year and he collab’d with the ladies on the remix of their hit song “Blessed & Highly Favored.”
Loni Love asked how they linked up with Snoop and Karen Clark Sheard recalled a phone call she received.
“He began to tell how he was raised up. How his grandmother raised him up. and it was bringing back moments and he wanted to tell his story of the life his grandmother helped him live spiritually.”
Tamera asked Twinkie, who is responsible for writing most of their music, how she felt about Kanye sampling their music.
“It was awesome, Twinkie shared. I heard he was in our hometown , Detroit Michigan at the park and it was packed out. People of all different nationalities, church folks and folks that don’t go to church. He did a shout out to the Clark Sisters and did one of our songs that was a great honor.”
