The Empress Of Soul Gladys Knight Guest Starring In Lee Daniels Show “Star”

The Empress of Soul, Ms. Gladys Knight is set to guest star in the Lee Daniels FOX show, Star as herself according to Deadline.

Star follows three talented, young singers – desperate for a new start and with ambitions of stardom – as they navigate the cut-throat music business.

Playing herself, the Empress of Soul is Alexandra’s (Ryan Destiny) music idol and the aunt of Danielle (guest star Jasmine Burke), who works in Carlotta’s (Queen Latifah) Salon. When Danielle arranges for Ms. Knight to introduce the girls at the Taylor Brothers Hair Show, the girls are honored beyond belief.

Ms. Gladys,  recently released a new inspiration gospel album “Where my Heart Belongs”.
