The Diddy and DJ Khaled lead new music competition show The Four on Fox has just been renewed for a second season.
Season 2 of The Four is set to premiere on the broadcast network this summer.
Airing Thursday nights on the network, it has pushed past the boundaries of traditional music competition series by allowing artist to battle each other for a seat to become one of the final four. The crowd chants “Eat! Eat! Eat!” as recording artist go head to head to win a spot on the show.
The judges for the first season were music giants Diddy, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, and Republic Records, with singer Fergie as the host.
“The Four” is Fox’s most-watched new unscripted series in four years in the 18-49 demo — where it is averaging a 1.4 rating according to Nielsen “most current” numbers, a mix for seven- and three-day data.

On Thursday night, it came down to fan favorites, Candice Boyd, Vincint Cannady, Evvie McKinney and Zhavia — but in the end, Memphis native McKinney was the winner!
McKinney kicked things off with a powerful rendition of “Proud Mary,” then chose to go head-to-head with Zhavia.
Performances of “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Glory” sealed the deal, as McKinney was named the first “Four” champion. She also won a record deal with Republic Records and the title of an iHeartMedia “On The Verge” Artist.
