The 2019 BET Soul Train Awards aired on Sunday night and some of the superstars of Gospel music were front and center.

Yolanda Adams was honored with the 2019 Lady of Soul award, and was presented her award by none other than Kirk Franklin. During her acceptance speech, Adams thanked her family and fans, and encouraged us to wake up every morning doing what we’re passionate about.
Yolanda then took the audience to church in a pantsuit that was fire!!!!!
The G.O.A.T Kirk Franklin took home the award for Best Gospel/ Inspirational album, and had the crowd on their feet as he inspired them not to give up.
“God did not call you to be microwavable, he wants you to know that what’s inside of you is like grand mommas greens, so don’t give up, your time is coming. “
Then Leandria Johnson hit the Soul Cypher stage mixing Aaliyah’s One in a Million, Erykah Badu’s Tyrone into her hit single Better Days.
