GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer Yolanda Adams is one of the performers tapped for a special salute to our Olympians and Paralympians as they prepare for Rio.
This July 4th, Ms. Yolanda will be featured on an annual July 4th PBS special, A Capitol Fourth. A Capitol Fourth puts viewers front and center for the greatest display of fireworks anywhere in the nation. A Capitol Fourth is broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, before a concert audience of hundreds of thousands, millions more at home, and our troops watching around the world on the American Forces Network.
A Capitol Fourth will feature performances by: legendary Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson; actress and singer Amber Riley, who is set to star in the musical Dreamgirls in London’s West End; and Grammy Award-winning gospel/adult contemporary superstar Yolanda Adams to name a few.
In other Yolanda Adams news, the singer and daughter Taylor (who is growing up) snapped a pic for fans after seeing the hit movie Finding Dory.
